A Wedding at Basingstoke Register Office & The Red Lion Hotel
I had a lovely day photographing a wedding at Basingstoke Register Office, followed by the reception at the Red Lion Hotel.
The day started at the register office, where the couple said their vows surrounded by their family and friends. It was relaxed, personal and full of those little moments I love capturing.
After the ceremony, we headed over to the Red Lion Hotel in Basingstoke for the celebrations.
There were plenty of laughs, hugs and lots of happy faces, which made my job pretty easy! I always try to keep the photography relaxed and natural, so couples can actually enjoy their day rather than feeling like they’re spending hours having their photos taken.
Of course, we got the important family photographs done, along with some time for the couple to have a few photos together. But most of the day was about capturing what was actually happening — the laughs, the little looks and all the moments in between.
I really enjoyed being part of their day and capturing it all for them to look back on.
