Why I Don't Share Full Wedding Galleries

One question I occasionally get asked is, "Can I see a full wedding gallery?"

It's a fair question. After all, you're choosing someone to capture one of the biggest days of your life, so of course you want to know what a complete wedding looks like.

The truth is, I don't send out or publish full galleries, and there's a simple reason why.

My Couples' Privacy Comes First

Your wedding day is incredibly personal. From emotional moments during the morning preparations to your vows, family hugs, happy tears and the dance floor chaos, those photographs tell the story of your day.

When my couples book me, they trust me with those moments. I believe that trust includes being careful about who gets to see them.

While some photographers are happy to share entire galleries with potential clients, I've chosen a different approach. I only share a carefully selected collection of images that my couples are happy for me to use in my portfolio, on my website and across social media.

Quality Over Quantity

My portfolio isn't made up of my favourite ten photos from hundreds of weddings. It's a collection of moments from many different couples, venues, weather conditions and celebrations.

It shows how I photograph the big moments, the quiet moments, family groups, details, portraits and everything in between.

Rather than seeing one wedding from start to finish, you're seeing consistent work across lots of real weddings.

Every Wedding Is Different

No two weddings are ever the same.

Different venues, different lighting, different seasons, different personalities. That's one of the things I love most about weddings.

Instead of comparing your day to someone else's, I'd rather show you a variety of weddings so you can imagine how your own story could be captured.

What You Can Expect

If you're wondering whether I photograph everything throughout the day—the answer is absolutely.

From the excitement of getting ready through to the first dance (and often those questionable dance moves later on!), I document your day naturally and without forcing moments.

My galleries are full of genuine memories, not just the highlights.

At the end of the day, I hope my couples know that I'd treat their wedding photos the same way I'd want mine treated.
